Bec Fights in Koh Samui — Pro Debut on Petchyindee x Petchbuncha Promotion

At 41 years old, Bec proved that age is no barrier to heart, grit, and Muay Thai spirit. Representing Maneema Muay Thai, she stepped into the ring in Koh Samui to face a much younger — and extremely experienced — professional Thai national athlete on the Petchyindee x Petchbuncha Promotion, a well respected televised fight show in Thailand.

After a dedicated four-week fight camp in Sydney, Bec and Kru Pong flew to Koh Samui to complete their final week of fight camp at Fas Muay Thai gym — a respected Muay Thai gym known for its intense training environment and for sending only strong, well-prepared fighters to professional promotions. She was pushed to the limit in the final week - with the heat, running, long rounds and relentless padwork and clinching with pro Thai fighers pushed every limit. The saying “train hard, fight eas(ier)” couldn’t have been truer.

The fight was a five-round traditional Muay Thai bout, and the goal was clear: cut her opponent early and stay controlled the clinch. Bec executed the plan perfectly in the first round, landing clean shots that opened her opponent. She listened, adjusted, and stayed disciplined every round — showing true ring IQ and composure under pressure.

Kru Pong couldn’t be prouder of his beloved wife. He believed in her every step of the way — but most importantly, she believed in herself. In Muay Thai, winning isn’t the most important thing — it’s about fighting with heart, executing beautiful technique, and never giving up.

The Maneema fight team is motivated and inspired — ready to train harder, put in the work, and proudly represent Maneema on 13 December at the Road to Siam Promotion.
