Do you offer free trials?
No — we don’t offer free trials. Over time, we’ve found that free trials can attract individuals who are not genuinely committed to ongoing training. Our coaches invest a high level of quality and attention into every session, and we prioritise delivering that value to students who are serious about their progress. What we offer instead 🥊 Beginners 101 – 2 Week Pass (see below for options) If you’re new to Muay Thai, this pass gives you access to 2 weeks of our Beginners 101 classes which is a structured introduction to Muay Thai. It’s designed for people who genuinely want to give it a go. 🥊 Casual Class ($35) If you’re already experienced, you’re welcome to join us on a casual basis with a paid session. Do you do Private Training?
Yes — we offer one-on-one private training sessions. Private training is ideal if you want faster progress, personalised feedback, or help working on specific techniques. Are your trainers from Thailand?
Yes — Maneema has three highly experienced Thai trainers from Thailand, bringing authentic Muay Thai knowledge and real fight experience directly to our classes. We have a strong focus on genuine Muay Thai technique, timing, and traditions — not just fitness kickboxing. Whether you're a complete beginner or experienced student, our goal is to keep training authentic while making it welcoming and beginner-friendly for everyone. 👉 You can read more about our coaches and experience on our trainer page.
Do I need martial arts experience to join?
No, we cater for all levels of experience! Everybody is welcome at Maneema Muay Thai. If you are a complete beginner, you are required to go into the Beginners 101 class held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday before you can transition into the All levels.
Do I need my own gear?
First time trying out? We have gear available to purchase at the gym upon your arrival. Alternatively you can borrow a set of gloves to use during your first session. Hand-wraps must be worn and can be purchased at the gym. All students must use their own gear to continue training (gloves, shin guards, hand wraps, Muay Thai shorts & mouth guard for sparring). All gear is available for purchase at the gym and on our website. Maneema Muay Thai is proudly partnered with InFightStyle bringing the best quality and trusted brand in the industry.
What do I need to bring to my first class?
Wear comfortable active wear that you can exercise in, a towel and hydration (we also have a stocked fridge of refreshments!). Bring a pair of gloves / shin guards if you have any otherwise we can loan you a pair for the day. You will need your own training equipment after the first class. Loan gear requirement: hand wraps must be worn which can be purchased at the gym. If you prefer use your own gloves (highly recommeded), we stock a full range of high quality Infightstyle equipment at the gym and online store.
How often do you recommend coming to class?
This depends on your goals, the more often you can come the quicker you are going to get to where you want to be. You will see more improvements in your technique and increase your fitness faster the more often you train. You will see yourself progress faster in retaining technique and improving cardio when you attend at least 3 classes a week. We offer beginner friendly classes 6 days a week to help you accelerate your fitness and technique. Please read more tips in our blog.
Do you have showers?
Yes, we have shower facility in the gym for those who need to rinse before heading off!
Can anyone attend sparring classes?
Sparring classes are available to our Maneema members only. This is for the safety of our class members. You must attend the beginners sparring classes and be given the OK from our head trainer Pong before you can attend the Sparring & Clinch classes. We require our students to have a reasonable level of understanding and skill before participating in contact sparring. If you are a member and would like to join the sparring classes, please speak to Kru Pong before attending to see if are ready participate!
Do you have parking onsite?
Yes, we have ample street parking available on the side streets including Mallett St, Australia St and behind in Pidock St. Note, Parramatta Rd parking is available on the weekdays between 10am to 3pm and in evenings 7pm onwards.
How long do the classes go for?
Classes generally run for 1 hour. Students are welcome come 10 mins earlier to do extra warm up or stretching. We also encourage group jogging sessions before classes.
Do you offer kids & teens classes?

Where can we buy Muay Thai Gear?
Maneema Muay Thai has collaborated with Infightstyle. We stock a large range of their high quality aesthetic Muay Thai gloves, shin guards, shorts and more in our gym shop and website!
How can I cancel my membership?
A 30-day notice period and Cancelation Form must be completed (any freeze period is not included in the notice period) Social media messaging/SMS is not acceptable as a means to cancel.
Can I put my membership on hold?
Yes. You can put your membership on hold for up to 6 weeks in a year. There is a fee of $5 per week for this service. A 2-week notice period prior to the next payment cycle is required. To request a hold, please complete the Freeze Form in the footer. *Any freeze period is not included in the minimum term or cancelation period.
